Shop Manager
Job Responsibilities:
attend weekly production meetings
work directly with owners to develop project scheduling and project deadlines
develop and share schedules and budgets
strong leadership ability
communicate expectations clearly and directly with clients
job cost tracking
day to day conversations with team members to direct them to project needs
assist in product procurement
assist in estimating
assist in project design
develop and implement systems that result in operation efficiencies
ability to see an entire project from start to finish
must be onsite daily to oversee projects productivity
Qualifications:
minimum 2+ years experience in management in production setting
background in building or automotive industry a plus
highly organized
must have good problem solving and decision making skills
good customer service skills
must have a working knowledge of how long a project will take to go from start to finish
