Shop Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • attend weekly production meetings

  • work directly with owners to develop project scheduling and project deadlines

  • develop and share schedules and budgets

  • strong leadership ability

  • communicate expectations clearly and directly with clients

  • job cost tracking

  • day to day conversations with team members to direct them to project needs

  • assist in product procurement

  • assist in estimating

  • assist in project design

  • develop and implement systems that result in operation efficiencies

  • ability to see an entire project from start to finish

  • must be onsite daily to oversee projects productivity

Qualifications:

  • minimum 2+ years experience in management in production setting

  • background in building or automotive industry a plus

  • highly organized

  • must have good problem solving and decision making skills

  • good customer service skills

  • must have a working knowledge of how long a project will take to go from start to finish
